Z32s are not really notorious for catching fire... the Z31 was, there was a recall to replace the injectors and fuel lines because of it. I put up an advisory every fall when it starts to get cold for knuckleheads to check their fuel lines, because that's prime time for fuel leaks to start happening. I guess as the Z32 gets older, it will become more and more common tho. Glad you escaped and the car isn't destroyed.
